Viewing in AR on a phone
This is what your audience does - no app to install. They open your link, allow the camera, and point it at your target image.
Opening an experience
- Scan the QR code with the phone's camera, or open the shared link in a browser (Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone).
- Tap Start AR and allow camera access when asked. The camera is used on the device only - nothing is recorded or uploaded.
- Point the camera at the target image. When it locks on, your content appears anchored to the image.

Interacting
If you added taps or other logic, your audience can tap objects to trigger them - play an animation, move to another scene, and so on.
Getting the best tracking
- Fill a good part of the screen with the target and keep the phone reasonably steady.
- Use even, glare-free lighting.
- Keep the whole target visible - don't cover part of it.
- Use a strong target image in the first place (see Choosing a target image).
How steady it feels
AR Works automatically smooths the tracking so content sits still on a held target and still keeps up when the phone moves, and it briefly holds position through a momentary glitch instead of blinking out. Even so, a good target does most of the work.
Tip
Works on modern iPhone and Android phones in a normal web browser. If nothing appears, check the camera permission and that you are pointing at the right image - see Troubleshooting.
