These terms govern your use of AR Works (ar.works) - a web-based augmented-reality authoring service operated by Qode LTD ("Qode", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17259547, registered office Liberty House, 30 Whitchurch Lane, Edgware, England, HA8 6LE. AR Works is a Qode LTD product. Contact: privacy@ar.works.
You accept these terms by creating an account (ticking the box at registration), subscribing to a paid plan, or using the service. If you don't agree, please don't use AR Works. Self-service registration requires you to be at least 13 years old; if you are under 18, make sure a parent, guardian, or your school agrees to these terms on your behalf. Student accounts are created by schools - see section 8.
AR Works lets you build augmented-reality experiences in the browser, upload media, and publish experiences to a share link and QR code that anyone can open on a phone. We improve the service continuously and may add, change, or remove features; where a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will give you reasonable notice.
The service has a Free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Education). Each plan has usage limits - for example the number of projects, total storage, scenes per project, and maximum upload size - which are shown on the pricing page and enforced by the service. We may adjust Free plan limits at any time and paid plan limits with reasonable notice.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of first subscribing. By subscribing you ask us to provide the service immediately. If you cancel within the 14 days, email privacy@ar.works and we will refund the payment less a proportionate amount for the time you had the service. Renewal payments are otherwise non-refundable, without affecting your statutory rights.
You must not:
We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms, and where a breach is serious or repeated, terminate the account.
The AR Works software, site, and branding belong to Qode LTD and its licensors. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service - maintenance, updates, and events outside our control can cause interruptions. AR experiences depend on your device, browser, camera, and lighting, and the viewer relies on open-source libraries served from a public CDN; results vary across devices. The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law - including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and (for consumers) your statutory rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data caused by events beyond our reasonable control, and our total aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the greater of £100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using AR Works at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@ar.works. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where the law requires it; where practical we will warn you first. On deletion, your content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and give at least 30 days' notice of material changes that affect paid plans. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction - except that if you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK or EU, you keep the protection of your local mandatory consumer rules and may bring proceedings in your home courts.
