Account & billing

Your Account page holds your plan, your billing, and your password. Reach it from the app menu once you're signed in.

See the pricing page for the full comparison. Limits (how many projects and how much storage) depend on your plan. Prices are shown in your local currency and charged in it at checkout.

Note

The Education plan is invitation-only - you can't self-subscribe from the pricing page. Use the For schools form to talk to us about the school discount. See Schools, teachers & students.

Open Account and find the Billing card.
Choose Pro monthly or yearly. You are taken to secure Stripe checkout.
After paying, your plan activates within a few seconds - the page refreshes itself.

Buying an extra project

Reached your project limit but don't need a full plan change? On your Dashboard the usage strip shows how many projects you've used and a Buy an extra project button. Each purchase is a one-time payment that permanently adds one more project slot - it stays even if your plan changes later.

Note

Students don't see any billing - their plan, seats and project space are managed by their teacher. If a student needs more room, their teacher grants it from the Extras page.

Your renewal date

On a paid plan, the Billing card shows when your subscription renews (or, if you've turned off auto-renew, when access ends). Free accounts don't have a renewal date.

Downgrading your plan

The Billing card has downgrade buttons that take effect at the end of your billing period, so you keep what you're paying for until then:

Pro → Free - a Pro subscriber gets a Downgrade to Free button. You keep Pro until the period ends, then the account moves to Free.
Education (schools) - a teacher gets Downgrade to Pro and Downgrade to Free. Because this ends your school, you're warned that your student accounts are unlinked, and you confirm with your password.

Heads up

Downgrading a school unlinks its students. They keep their accounts and work, and are re-linked automatically if the school is upgraded again - but an administrator can also permanently remove students that stay unlinked. See Schools, teachers & students.

Managing or cancelling

Click Manage subscription to open Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can update your card, switch plans, download invoices, or cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; card statements show QODE (AR Works is a Qode LTD product).

Changing your password

The Change password card lets you set a new password (enter your current one first). Forgotten it? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page to get a reset link by email.

Note

Cancelling or downgrading takes effect at the end of the period. Your projects are never deleted, but any that are over your new plan's limit become locked until you unlock them or get back under the limit, and Pro/Education features no longer apply.
