Seats & extra project space

When your class grows or students need more room, top up from the Extras page. Everything is a one-time purchase - no extra subscriptions.

Where to find it

Teachers have an Extras link in the top menu. Prices are shown in your local currency and charged securely through Stripe (card statements show QODE).

Buying student seats

A seat is a student place in your school. When every seat is used you can't add or invite more students until you free one up or buy more.

Open Extras and find the Student seats card.
Choose how many seats to add - the total updates as you type.
Pay once; the seats are added to your school within a few seconds.

Note

Seats are a one-time purchase that permanently raises your school's limit. Removing a student frees their seat for someone else.

Granting extra project space

Every student can build a set number of projects on their Student plan(independent of your own limit). If a student (or a whole class) needs more, grant them extra project slots - this permanently raises that student's limit, and is also how you unlock a student's projects if they ever go over their limit:

Open the Extra project space card.
Choose who gets it: all students, a group, or specific students you tick.
Set how many extra projects each of them should get.
The total is price × projects × students - grant it once, and each student's project limit goes up permanently.

Tip

Granting to a group is the quick way to give a whole class more room for a big project. Students never pay or see billing - it's all on your account.

Setting the prices (admins)

Extra seat and extra project prices are set per plan by a platform administrator in Admin → Plans. Setting a price to £0 turns that add-on off.
